Imagine a seed buried deep in the soil. For a long time, it lies in darkness, pressed by the weight of the earth, hidden from sight. Days turn to weeks, and still there is nothing to show for its struggle. But beneath the surface, away from human eyes, something beautiful is happening. Roots are stretching, the seed is transforming, and at just the right moment, when the sun and rain are exactly as Allah has decreed, it breaks through the soil and rises toward the light. No one who saw it buried would have guessed what it would become, yet here it is, standing tall, carrying the promise it was always meant to fulfill.
Allah will give you, and you will be pleased. {93:5}
I know the heaviness of going in circles, the pain of hope deferred, the pain of a love you thought would last only for it to dissolve before your eyes. I know the quiet moments where you wonder if your heart can keep walking this road, if you have the strength to try again. But let me remind you that your story is still being written by the One whose wisdom knows no bounds. His pen never slips, His timing never falters.
Allah says good men are for good women, and His promise is true. To the one who inspired this reflection, you are among the most remarkable souls I have ever known. I have yaqeen that when your time comes, you will find yourself in a love so complete that your heart will bow in gratitude to the One who brought you together. You will laugh in relief, you will look back and see how every delay was a mercy, how every “no” was making space for the most beautiful “yes” of your life.
To the tired soul who feels too worn to try again, I ask you to hold on a little longer. The One who split the sea for Musa can split open the impossible for you. The One who brought Yusuf from the darkness of the well to the highest place in the land can bring you out of the recurrent situationships. Your wait is not in vain bi’idhnillah. Your patience is seen by As Sabur. And your heart is in the care of the Most Gentle, Al Lateef, who loves to surprise His servants with gifts beyond what they ever dared to imagine.
And when your time comes, you will In Sha Allah be given a love that feels so unreal, it would feel like a piece of Jannah. A love that wraps around you like the morning sun after a long, cold night. It will be like that first sip of cold water on a hot, hot day.
This love will speak in a language beyond words. It will be in the way they look at you as if you were a du’a they had been making for years. It will be in the way their care for you is not loud or fleeting, but consistent, steady, and rooted in the One who brought you together. No, it’ll not be like the man who puts in effort at first, then disappears without a trace. It’ll be the kind of love that makes you feel safe in the way children feel safe when they fall asleep in their mother’s arms. A love that will make you wonder how you ever thought you understood love before this moment.
One day, you will be sitting across from them, maybe with laughter between you, maybe with tears of gratitude, and you will feel it , the weight of everything that happened before you got to this point. You’ll only understand then why you had to wait. It was Your Rabb in His infinite Mercy and Divine Wisdom, preserving the best for you.
And when that moment comes, gratitude will pour through you like light flooding a dark room. You will say Alhamdulillah with the yaqeen that you were never forgotten, never overlooked, never unloved. You will know without hesitation that Allah gave you so you could be pleased.
Until that day, keep being the beautiful soul you are. Keep choosing kindness, keep walking with sincerity, keep seeking Allah’s pleasure, for He says in the Qur’an
…Good men are for good women and good women are for good men
24:26
and His promise is true.
So hold on, dear heart, for the One who created you is the Author of your story, and He writes the most beautiful endings. When the time comes, you will In Sha Allah find a love worth every moment of the wait, and you will thank your Rabb who wrote it for you before time began.
May Allah ﷻ bless you with what your heart longs for and grant you a love story so beautiful that it moves you to wake up for tahajjud everyday in constant gratitude to Him. A love so beautiful it’s unfathomable to the human mind.
